- Slope handling — paddles with 35%+ slope ratings beat 25% paddles for most US suburban yards.
- Coverage area per dollar — sqm of supported lawn ÷ price.
- Smart features depth — multi-zone, vision avoidance, GPS theft, weather sensing, etc.
- Brand reliability signal — established brands with parts/service networks score above no-name disruptors at equal spec.

A-tier — strong specs, specific use cases
