On raw specs, the LUBA 2 wins almost every category. But specs don't tell the whole story.
Where Husqvarna 415X wins
Brand reliability + service network
Husqvarna has 30 years of robot mower data. Their service infrastructure is enormous — authorised dealers in every major city, 24-hour parts availability, established repair workflows. If your 415X fails in year 5, finding a qualified technician is straightforward. Mammotion is 4 years old. Their support pipeline is improving but inevitably less developed.
Wire-guided is more reliable under tree canopy
Heavy tree coverage degrades RTK GPS signal — sometimes intermittently, sometimes for hours. The 415X doesn't care; it follows the wire regardless. For yards with significant tree canopy, wire-guided is genuinely the better technology.
Lower power consumption
2WD + smaller cutting width = lower energy use per cycle. Less wear on the battery. Battery replacement costs ~$200 every 4-5 years.
Price

Yes. Real-Time Kinematic GPS is a documented technology with centimetre-level accuracy when both base station and rover have clear sky view. Mammotion's implementation is based on standard RTK protocols.
What about Mammotion warranty service in the US?
Mammotion has US-based warranty support and parts inventory. Response times have been improving but lag Husqvarna's network. Check current reviews before purchase.
Will the LUBA 2 work under tree canopy?
